NSP partners with New Era

NSP has partnered with New Era to implement the 'New Era Harka Gurung Scholarship Program'. The program provides scholarships to 20 students at the secondary level for three years. New Era has provided the grant of Rs. 250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand only) to NSP to cover the expenses for the program.  

National Coordinator and Administrative Officer appointed

Nationwide Scholarship Program (NSP)is pleased to announce the appointment of Rabindra Maharjan for the post of National Coordinator of the program effective from October 8, 2007.

Similarly, Khagendra Kattel has been appointed as the Administrative Officer of the program.

NSP hopes that the program will benefit from the experiences and expertise of both of them and extends best wishes for their successful tenure.  

Agreement of Hemraj Bhandai Scholarship Program signed

Nationwide Scholarship Program (NSP), Seventeenth batch of Budhanilkantha School (SEBS 800B), and family members of Late Hemraj Bhandari (806B) signed an agreement to implement the Hemraj Bhandari Scholarship Program under the NSP amidst a memorial service held to remember Hemraj Bhandari at British Embassy Hall, Lainchour on September 23, 2007.  

Santosh and Mahendra support NSP

Santosh Gyawali (800A) has donated NRs. 100,000 (one hundred thousand only) for providing scholarships to the bright and needy students through SEBS NSP.

Mahendra Lawoti (200A) has also donated NRs. 40,035 (forty thousand thirty five only) to SEBS NSP.

SEBS NSP would like to thank both, Santosh and Mahendra for their generosity.  

NSP partners with Santi School Project

The Nationwide Scholarship Program North America (NSP-NA) team is delighted to inform you about our partnership with Santi School Project (SSP). SSP is building a school in Ramche Village in Sindhupalchowk District, a village where children have gone without a school for more than eight years financial and political problems.  

Funds Raised in United States for NSP

Dear friends,

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that our fundraising event held in Boston, MA on May 27 was a huge success. Thanks to some tremendous work by our runners, we raised $2,879.00 to support NSP’s work in Nepal.

On the behalf of Nationwide Scholarship Program, I would like to thank our marathon runners for Sudhir Manandhar, Sanjiv Sainju, Sagun Shakya, Deepti Shrestha, and Ujwal Shrestha.  

Nationwide Scholarship Program - North America Formed

SEBS-North America has formed the Nationwide Scholarship Program-North America (NSP-NA) under Rupendra dai's (766B) leadership to support the NSP team in Kathmandu and to work as a liaison between SEBS-NA and the NSP. One of the major goals of the NSP-NA team this year is to coordinate with NSP and the Santi School Project to construct a school in Ramche, near Barabise.  

NSP recruits new Executive Committee Members

SEBS NSP executive committee meeting held on January 1, 2007 had unanimously selected Sujan Jojiju for the post of executive committee member. The meeting also decided to co-opt Prakash Pathak as the executive committee member.

SEBS NSP executive committee meeting held on November 26 had called on interested SEBS members to apply for the post vacated by Nayan Pokharel, who went to the United States to pursue his undergraduate studies.  

NSP awards the district coordinators

The Nationwide Scholarship Programme (NSP), awarded certificates of appreciation to 15 students and staff of Budhanilkantha School who have facilitated the implementation of the scholarship program as district coordinators in their respective localities in the Monday school assembly on December 19, 2005
